Refugee Home School Support Project works across Wandsworth to raise achievement and improve social engagement of children from refugee communities. We are not bound by immigration status and aim to be as inclusive as possible.
In 2011, we continued to work with over 200 children different children and 100 families. Our project engages with children and families across the usual delineation of child or adult, home or school, learning or fun. This approach allows us to incorporate a wide variety of activities in meeting our aims.
KEEP MOVING 4 SOMALIA!
Thank you to everyone who came and walked, ran and scooted for Somalia in October 2011. We raised £2868 which is much more than we hoping for! Thank you all for your support, time and generosity. Special thanks to Hana Gill and Mohammad Ali for all their time and organising skills!
LOVE TO LEARN has been working hard to get young people from refugee backgrounds participating in holiday activities organised by local schools:
"Well done for getting so many kids doing activities with us. I can hardly believe how successful you've been at getting them joining in. " Camilla Bayford, Graveney School.
